Installation Instructions
Step 1: Following the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations, use a properly rated jack and jack stands. Lift the rear of
the truck with the floor jack and support the vehicle using jack stands. Remove the rear wheels.
Step 2: Remove the OEM bump stop located on the frame rail above the rear axle tube using a 12mm deep socket. There
are three bolts securing each bump stop.
Step 3: Use a scraper or wire brush to clean any mud or debris from the frame.
Step 4: Assemble the rubber bump stop to the metal bracket using the provided flat head screws. Fasten the screws with
the supplied Allen wrench until snug. Do not overtighten.
Step 5: Mount the DuroBumps bump stop in the OEM location on the frame rail. Insert the bolts into the factory holes and
tighten them using a 12mm socket wrench until snug. Do not overtighten.
Step 6: Repeat steps 2–5 on the other side of the vehicle.
Step 7: Reinstall the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Torque the lug nuts to factory specifications.
